Transition Education Evening for Parents and Students
for Clear Creek Independent School District
 
What: This is your opportunity to attend family learning sessions presented directly from agency personnel about their services and processes.

6-8:15 p.m.
Clear Springs HS
 
Agency representatives will present directly to our parents and students about their programs and services.  
See attached Session Summary for details about presenters 
Learning Session Strands:
 
Strand 1: MHMRA, Guardianship, and Medicaid Waiver Services (IDD/AU Services, Day Hab Services, Respite, Therapeutic and itinerant services, behavior support, etc.)
 
Strand 2: Post-Secondary Education Programs Designed for Individuals with an Intellectual Disability or Autism (Ex: VAST, STRIVE, PATHS)
 
Strand 3: High School to College: How to Support a Successful Transition 
(Accessing the Office of Disability Services, IDEA vs 504 and ADA, Student Support Services at college, taking the TSI, Certifications vs Degrees, etc.)
See the attached Session Summary for a list of presenters in each strand and a description of each organization presenting.
 
You can attend up to 3 sessions over the course of the evening, in any order you choose. 
 
Learning sessions will begin and end at:
6:00-6:45 p.m.
6:45-7:30 p.m.
7:30-8:15 p.m.
Choose your own session(s) to attend  
 
Child Care will be available!!!                             Food will be provided as well!!
